Bernos: Ethiopian Culture on Your Shirt

I first time found Bernos.org at 9rules when Nolawi asked for some comment about his new online shop. That brought me to his website and wow… I’m proud of what Bernos guys do to celebrate their origin culture through the T-shirts they created. Using the uniqueness of Ethiopian themes –the place where they come from– they try to share the story of Ethiopian throughout the world (well, currently only ship to US and Canada)

“Where else are you going to find a T-shirt honoring Abebe Bikila or celebrating the sweet taste of Desta Keremela? Nowhere. That’s why we’re here.”

And you know what –it doesn’t matter who you are and where are you come from– I always believe that the language of T-shirts is universal; and so they are:

“Today, anyone can capture and celebrate some of Ethiopia’s history and the status of the Bernos by wearing one of our unique t-shirts. They don’t come with rifles and they’re much more comfortable than heavy wool. But they are uniquely Ethiopian.”

No cheap T-shirts here, they are selling American Apparel tee shirt and each of them is sold for $15.99. Currently only three tees available and I cannot wait to see more [visit]
