Bountee Tees Examined: Direct-to-Garment Printing
With so many T-shirts on Bountee catalog, thanks to members’ submission, it was hard for me to convince myself that I can’t pick all of them. That was before finally I ordered these two T-shirts named Yawn (the black one, design by user name AndreValente) and Man on Bike. Boy in Basket (by DrPockless). Before commenting, her are some photos I want to share with you:
Printed images on both tees are very neat and comfortable. But what really amazed me was the watercolor painting-like on Man on Bike. Boy in Basket T-shirt (as you can see on the zoomed-in image).
Bountee blames Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing for this superb quality. It’s an advance printing technology which is claimed to be able to produce over 16 million colors – something what makes our friend, T-shirt designers, feel like in heaven since there’s almost no limit for their creativity. Not forget to mention, some new features which have been added recently, enable members to submit more designs easily (read my review here).
