Is The Shirt Project a T-post Clone?

Apparently, yes it is. The Shirt Project has very similar concept with already-famous T-post, releases one T-shirt every month and available for purchase via subscription or pre-order only. Again, (not different with T-post) The Shirt Project, which started by duo Rich and Louise, focus on creating T-shirt which idea inspired by current world issue such as New York City Midtown Steam Explosion (September issue) and Trouble in Myanmar (October issue).

Two differences are The Shirt Project tries to be more connected with visitors (potential customers?) by allowing them to comment on the product released; and links to related website where related news stories are posted. It's more like a blog/journal so to speak.

Believe it or not, the project claims make no profit by selling $15 per T-shirt i.e. according to subscription fee, $75 for 5 issues including shipping cost within US. The project is supported by the Rhoda Lubalin Fellowship, an annual award for design students graduating from the Cooper Union School of Art.
