besubversive: For the Sake of Good Design and Mankind!

Besubversive has a pretty cool take on t-shirts. Their goal is to keep the branding low-key, meaning that only the tag gives it away. The images are natural-looking and subtle, so you can wear the shirt without the shirt wearing you.

Unlike some companies who will reprint whatever the public desires, these guys know there’s nothing cooler than being the only guy in the room with the shirt everyone loves. So sorry latecomers, each design is limited to 1000 prints.

The overall goal seems to be to make each customer feel like the shirt they buy was made with that person in mind. Part of that is pampering the buyer, and besubversive does it up right with a gift pack included a postcard of the shirt design, a notepad, and some stickers. Sounds good to me!

Limited edition designs that don’t turn you into a walking billboard? Sounds pretty subversive to me!
