Searching the Next Best Tee Shirts, Flickr Way
Best known as photo-sharing website, Flickr is not a "users-powered" website that immune from T-shirt fever. Beside showcasing for people’s coolest photos and, sometime, non-photograph visual art; there are also tons of art and design products laying there waiting to be picked. In short term, Flickr has become a vehicle for smart vendors or individual artists to reach the right people — those who appreciate visual art – with no or little barriers.
Searching for rare T-shirts on Flickr is no brainer. First, you can always type Flickr’s search button key words like "tee", "tee shirt" or "T-shirt" to find some really good T-shirts (but don’t put additional word "wet" as that gives different meaning). Just to let you know, these are some indie tee labels that already posted on Tshirt island has also have their own Flickr gallery: 410BC (review), ChopShop Store (review), and Top Dollar (review).
If you’re lucky, you’ll find photos of T-shirts posted by vendors; usually these images would have URL address of website or online shop at the bottom of images i.e. a the description/caption part. However, it’s most likely that you will find photos about T-shirts but not purposely posted by vendors as "ready to buy" item; instead they are just casual photograph with "T-shirt" description on it. That’s fine, but you only want to find T-shirts that you can buy.
The Groups’ Pool, this is how you can find best tees on Flickr without sweating
Thanks to some awesome Flickr users; there are Flickr groups that are specially dedicated to help you find T-shirts by vendors, such as …hold your breath… T-shirt Revolution, Tee lovers, T-shirt Show, Your T-shirts, T-shirt Design, The T-shirt project, White T-shirts and black T-shirts (for white and blackshirt lovers!) and Independent T-shirt labels — these are just few to name but these groups are probably the biggest in term of photos collection. The "Pool" consist of photos of posted tees that have been collected by admin of each group.
That’s all for Flickr today. If you found really awesome tee shirts on Flickr, don’t forget to share with us here — that would help you getting a good karma.

Great article. I’ve been putting our shirts on Flickr for a while now. We also joined a bunch of t-shirt groups.
