What is Urban Humanity? It’s about going a step beyond by trying to build a company that benefits the community and protects the world around us. To that end, they keep things as local as possible, meaning that there are definitely no sweatshops involved. They’re looking out for the environment as well, using organic and recycled materials when possible. Even the profits end up benefiting more than just the company itself- a portion of profits is donated to charity.
Their collection reflects their beliefs, focusing on simple, natural imagery. These one color designs are visually thought provoking, such as the shirt showing a wreath-like shape made up of birds in flight. It’s all inspired by the feel of the Pacific Northwest, but wearable enough for any region.
