Andhika Nugraha created God. It's a tee shirt he named that he describes feeling and reflection of God, representative of being taken in a rapture in his design style. But God is just one of six new tee shirts by from-designers-to-designers T-shirt label, Designgive. Fig. 53 by Daniel van Beek and Star by Gunawan Lo are the other two favorites of mine. With only $13 on the tag price, that's including percentage donated to hand-picked charitable organization, you couldn't as for more. There are total six designs, just released last week, plus 2 reprinted tees.
I first noticed Designgive last year, as yet-another small indie label showcasing tee shirts by undiscovered talent that are sold for $10. You know, it makes me nervous when you have good-looking design sold at this level of price. I'm worrying if these guys can survive. (Ten Bills is another $10 bucks-ish tee label). But hey, after a year, Designgive is still here, even with 2.0 version. Now, what would you say to those too-much-hype-to-sell streetwear labels selling their tees at (fill this bracket with jaw-dropping price)?
Designgive 2.0, you'd love it.
