Planning to Start a Clothing Line? This e-book might be Good for you

fuel for design e book how to start clothing line Starting clothing might sounds very complex, from planning collection’s designs and get them printed on the actual products, to managing inventory and setting up an online shop.

But it could also be very simple if you understand the know-how; it can even be the easiest and cheapest venture to start as I see the trend of a single person or small group of individuals starting their clothing line, and growing like a mad in just few years.

I know I can’t wait too long just to see the new Marc Ecko, Sunshine Megatron (owner of T-shirt Hell), or Johnny Cupcakes in the near future.

Sure you can find info on how to start clothing line (especially T-shirts) from online forums like T-shirtsforum.com or Emptees. But there’s another resource you that may give you some ideas to start clothing business, an E-Book by Gino Orlandi of T shirt blog and clothing line Color Overload.

I won’t call Gino himself a success story. His T-shirt blog, ColorOveload.com, was just started few months ago and so his clothing line. But I respect him as graphic designer, blogger and SEO strategist with his claim-to-fame, You the Designer — a graphic design blog and resources. It might just me, but I always thinking graphic design has a hearties place in clothing (especially T-shirt) business

I’ve never read his E-book, but looking forward to get the free version from him (as he promised). If you already got one for yourself, you may want to discuss here and share you comment over the e-book. $57 could be a good investment, that’s if you can stop for minutes and read — just to get fresh perspective!

Disclosure: I should receive a small commission from Gino for mentioning his book on Cottonable, however this doesn’t mean I’m suggesting his book. Not until I read the e-book myself.
