Video Game Nerds Unite at Supercombo

Supercombo is a company tailor-made for fans of both cool shirts and video games- because it was created by guys who love those things, too. That much is made clear by the attention to detail seen in their designs, particularly in the depth and accuracy of the items they used in Trifarce, a stylish send-up of the iconic Zelda series.

One Night Only is another strong concept, mirroring a fight poster but using the names and personalities of the characters from Street Fighter to add some flair. Nice phrasing like “one credit per entry” and “live at the airfield” immediately bring back fond memories of battling it out over arcade joysticks.

I have to admit that their third launch tee is so nerdy that the reference initially escaped me (I’m not familiar with Naruto), but Dattebayo! has a really nice style that is eminently wearable even for less knowledgeable nerds like myself. In a sense, that’s the focus of the whole line- shirts that make geeky references, but that have such a good-looking style that regular folks will still dig them.
