Word! Apparel Makes Horror T-shirts with Comical Style
Word! Apparel was launched about 8 months ago straight from Houston, Tx by 22 year-old Levi Hardeman. Despite the newly launched brand, Word! has got decent attention locally through band-sponsoring of two local bands (Myspace link, beware the music volume) Before There Was Rosalyn and Novista; and by hiring T-shirt graphic artists — like Wotto — to contribute; thanks to the Emptees connection.
Word! offers T-shirts with horror, dark “feel” mixed with comical style design. Design printed on most part of front chest — make them a typical attention grabber clothing for no-shy individuals. On a recent interview with Coty Gonzales, I found that Levi is also a fan of Johnny Cupcakes, Electric Zombie, NIWL and KidRobot — thus where the inspiration come from
