Roguelephant Defies Convention

Roguelephant is a new t-shirt company I just learned about via the forums at TeeFury, and I’m glad I followed the link. What endeared me to the site is the way they’re working to do something different from the competition, aiming more for making unique and experimental pieces than for the mass-market joke designs that most start-ups favor.

Two of their shirts that I particularly dug are Dragon, which uses layering to convey a cool Here-Be-Monsters kind of feel, and Rogue Tower, which finds beauty in the massing of letters. There are still options like Skulls and Bus for the less adventurous, but Roguelephant is, to me, at its best when they’re taking chances.
