A Guide to Daily T-Shirt Sites on the Internet

One of the greatest things about the t-shirt industry’s growth in recent years is the fact that it means you’ll never have to be caught wearing the same tee as anyone else you know. And if you really want to ensure that you’ve got the most unique shirts around, you’ll definitely want to check out the T-Shirt of the Day or Week trend — where a T-shirt could only available in very short time (physically or in term of price). Here are all the shirt a day sites you need to know about:

TeeFury

It might be called the more artistic-leaning of the genre, typically featuring more illustrative or experimental works than much of the competition. While that is often the focus, though, humor and pop culture also have their day in the sun. One unique aspect of TeeFury is that a larger percentage of site members are artists themselves, which has led to large-scale t-shirt design collaborations that often feature the work of 50+ people. All shirts are sold for $10.

Design By Humans 

This is probably a non-typical shirt of the day site, qualifying in the genre by offering new designs at a heavily reduced price for the first 24 hours. DBH’s trademarks are high quality and high art, so you’ll be see a lot of incredible illustration and interesting printing techniques (including embroidery and metallic foils) here. Design by Humans has successfully attracted some of the best tee designers to join its regular competition. Sometime, I see it as alternative to Threadless.

Uneetee

Well, this is an interesting case, as they used to sell one design a day. The current model used is a bit more flexible, typically offering one new design each week at a reduced price ($19 from the usual $26.99 for one tee). This gives deal hunters the unique option of trying to time buys just right, so as to pick up two designs at lower than usual prices.

RIPT 

With a name playing on the idea that each design will “Rest in Peace” at the graveyard after the 24 hours. So far the site has been defined by a willingness to take chances, which means they print work that is very varied (recently featuring an abstract blobby creature back-to-back with a highly detailed warrior illustration. These tees are just $10 each.

Shirt.Woot

It is the industry giant, sometimes selling as many as 3000 copies of one design in just 24 hours. Since this tee selling came about as an expansion of a technology website, nerd and geek friendly humor is the norm here. While each shirt is only sold at $12 for one day, scrolling down the front page to the Reckoning link where they’ll continue to be available at a slightly higher price – as long as they maintain their popularity.

Tilteed

They called themselves a bunch of t-shirt nerds who love unique tees. But that’s what they actually do, print those tee by hand on the highest quality blanks and they wear everyday. It’s not a super-hurrah tee shirts brands or community, it stay small and humble from what I found almost a year ago but constantly surprise me with artsy tees. New T-shirts are usually gone after 3 days but some of them available in the archive.

BustedTees: Today’s deals

Not really a kind of “today’s shirt will be gone forever” — because BustedTees only offer “Today’s Deals” which means the lowest price of one a tee shirt could ever be on BustedTees

Teefury

Started in 2008 by a bunch of artists who love limited edition t-shirts. At TeeFury you will find a new amazing tee every 24 hours for just $10. All of tees are super limited-edition, being sold for only 24-48 hours or until sold out, whichever happens first. After the sale period the t-shirt is removed from teefury.com, never to be made available for sale again (at least through teefury.com – artists retain full rights to their artwork and may choose to make the piece available at a future date).

Qwertee

It’s promosie is to sell incredible t shirts for a limited time only (or until they sell out) for as little as the incredible price of £8/€10/$12. When it comes to tee shirts here at Qwertee we offer (an ambitious) “One Tee Shirt, One Day Only, One Incredible Price”. Qwertee works with some of the finest artists/designers in the world to bring you an amazing new design every day of the year. Qwertee tee shirts are incredibly Limited Edition, after the timer reaches zero they are gone from Qwertee FOREVER, most likely never to return again.

The Yetee

The Yetee is among the new who join the crowd. The site featuring an awesome new tee shirt design every 72 hours for the low price of $11. It handpicks the submissions from around the world, choosing which design to be printed tomorrow or the day after. The unique Yetee character makes it a little bit stand out from its competitor, don’t forget to watch the video.

Othertees

OtherTees was establised in April 2011 as first Poland (self-proclaimed) based company to offer customers all over the world limited edition tee shirt. Its focus mainly on pop culture design — no wonder if you see T-shirts related to you favourite comics, movie, tv show or any other geeky stuff for that matter. New OtherTee is up on sale every 48 hours. OtherTees are sold for three days only and after that certain period of time they are gone forever, never to be sold again.

Another Fine Tees

Another Fine Tee is a “tee-a-day” site. It seriously offer ONE original, limited edition tee design once every 72 hours. Once its time is up, they’ll offer up the next design. That’s one shirt at a time, every 72 hours. Another Fine Tees embraces all types of pop culture as well as original art and will consider most anything as long as it is your original artwork and does not contain any type of profanity or any other offensive subject matter.

What happens after the 72 hours that a shirt is sold? The design is no longer offered on Another Fine Tees. If you missed a design you like, you may be able to contact the artist to see if/where they have it available.

Nifty

Nifty came out of the desire to add up our personal t-shirt collections while building an entertaining and sustainable shopping experience. Nifty is being created in the heart of San Francisco, California by Happy Koalas in partnership with the design expertise of Rocdove.
