Legalize It or Not, Let’s Discuss It while I’m Wearing My T-shirt

Once made up reggae’s “holy trinity” with Bob Marley and Bunny Livingston, Peter Tosh left the Wailers to pursue a solo career and came up with one of my favorite reggae single, Legalize It. A song that is much loved by all his fans as a bold statement that Peter Tosh had arrived and was a creative force in his own right through album, “Legalize It”.
But what I really feel about song is broader meaning of the two words itself, “legalize it”.
It’s because for me, legalization (of drugs, or tampee, the weed, marijuana, ganja… whatever you name it) have always been an issue for everyone. It’s always been about whether drug-use morally acceptable or tolerable, what our right is to consume drugs, and most importantly, whether legalization decrease drug-consumption in society. I’m not on any side of the argumentbecause I always have my fingers on both of them. Indeed, I’m grateful to have a T-shirt that starts the conversation fashionably.
A little bit about this T-shirt: it’s a cotton made tee with 27.75″ from shoulder to hem and fits true to size — available exclusively on Urban Outfitters online store for $24
