Wanting to be in business with the right attitude — Mandacarú carries out a strict selection of its suppliers, working only with those who respect the principles established by ILO (International Labour Organization). At the present, all its organic cotton is manufactured in Peru and Spain; while the inks used for the prints are organic water-based (free of metals and PVC) and tag brand labels are made from recycled carton. That’s all too good if you believe that nothing should be wasted!

Oh yeah, Mandacarú products are certified by Control Union too. Maybe you have heard the term “fair trade” or “sweatshop-free”, The Control Union certifications are given only to suppliers that hold, guarantee strict commitments in the area of the ecology and a series of social criteria that imply the respect of working conditions such as safety, hygiene, salary and schedules. If only all clothing labels have such concern — world would be a better place indeed.
