The brand LadyUmbrella came to be as a direct result of the wet Irish weather. Elena, the Spanish designer & founder of LadyUmbrella, who had lived most of her life in Madrid/Barcelona arrived in Ireland during the dark, wet, winter months of 2007 and saw streets laiden with umbrellas. The quantity of umbrellas obscured and hid peoples faces – LadyUmbrella was born.

The Lady with an umbrella shaped head is always there as a star in each tees and also with a story that come along with her. My Favorite is LadyUmbrella is Away With the Birds and What Came first – The Chicken or The Umbrella Tee shirts (€24.99). The colors and the unique illustration steal my heart right away!

All LadyUmbrella Tees are made with 100% combed cotton with a soft discharge print. T-shirts have a smooth woven 100 denier damask neck label which is also soft. All of their t-shirts come with customised hang tags which are signed, dated and numbered by the Elena (the designer) so each t-shirt is unique to the person who buys it. Nice!
