An Elephant Stops by at Tilteed
Being Thai, I have a soft spot in my heart for elephants. Elephants are quite important in Thai culture. Back in the day, they were used for battle and transportation. Today, a lot of souvenirs that you see are of elephants and there are places where you can go to take an elephant ride. A few summers ago, I took my first ever ride on an elephant. It was such an enjoyable experience, and I would love to do it again someday! Needless to say, I love this new Tilteed design by Jared Stumpenhorst (stumpyhorse) because I think elephants are awesome.
Elephants are large, powerful creatures, but even they are subject to the difficulties of survival. As these animals age, you can just look at them and see that they’ve dealt with in their daily lives. I think this design shows this very well, as the elephant looks worn down and aged. There are several neat elephant designs out there but there aren’t very many printed on lemon, so I’m glad that stumpyhorse is taking a stand with Proboscidea ($12).
Proboscidea by stumpyhorse is available at Tilteed for $12 only until Noon PDT on Saturday, October 23. It’s a part of the Tilteed Limited series, so once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. Don’t wait too long if you want to snag a copy!
