One of the newer designs that I especially like is a piece by Scarlett Veith called Attack of the Robot! Everything in this design just works. The turquoise background is a perfect contrast for the robot and its red details. Not only are there airplanes trying to take this big piece of metal down, but there’s also a blimp shooting lasers at it. I never thought of blimps as vehicles of destruction, but if it works, then I’m all for it!

Something else that I find to be quite interesting is that I don’t see any signs of destruction in the city. Perhaps this is a friendly robot who just so happens to be twice the height of skyscrapers, a robot who is clearly being misunderstood by the humans who are trying to bring it down.
