Norma de Leon, a.k.a Muxxi, is an illustrator and graphic designer from Guatemala City. While still finishing her degree in graphic design she began working as a web designer and illustrator, attracting clients such as Nokia and Mr. Chiizu.
Her style is vivid and joyful surreal compositions with bright colors, lots of patterns and textures and filled with imaginary mysterious and colorful. Most of here designs the are now available at her Society6 store as they are printed on men’s and women’s tee.
Everything began as a hobby playing with sketches every day until her unique style started to attract important clients and fans around the world. She focuses on creating a very solid style at the same time making herself a name in the illustration scene. She describes herself as
an illustrator girl, trying to experiment with my art all the time, I love weird things and create surreal characters, patterns, clouds, doodles, murals and all the things that demand art.
Her inspiration was a cool playlist and a good coffee, and definitely videos, animations, movies, magazines, art, photos and toys, and everything creepy inspire her all the time.
