Have you google-doodled today? Check them out, Google has celebrated the birth of the inventor of the petri dish, Julius Richard Petri who was born on May 31 1852. He is the man of science, bacteria, and hygiene. His invention, Petri Dish (that bears his surname) allowed for better identification of bacteria and the disease they caused. Forever changed the science works! Petri died in Germany, 1921. But his Petri Dish invention lives in every scientists or Micribiologists or biologist student’s heart.
