Not only because it’s totally fail-yet-awesomely hilarious, but also because I curious of nice tee guy’s wearing on the video. I don’t know where to get that hipster-baby tee, but I really want to have one. That reminds me, perhaps, there should be a Harlem Shake edtion for all-wearing-tee shirt video. I mean, Harlem-shaking with the coolest tee shirt on earth. That would be awesome isn’t it? Meanwhile, I’ll just Keep Calm And Do The Harlem Shake like what this tee says.
Have you ever heard these names before: Adolph Rickenbacker (inventor of amplifiable electric guitar), Rene Laennec (inventor of stethoscope) or Victoria Woodhull (first women to run for US presidency)? The last few years we have seen a butt-load of movies, books, and tv shows about mythical creatures of the night. Vampires kicked it off with things like Twilight movie and True Blood serials, but werewolves are FINALLY getting some recognition with shows like MTV’s Teen Wolf. Now, combine those scary-yet-sexy creatures with saxophone player, which are always on the hunt for the perfect reed which will fill them with the confidence to perform freely.
Wearing up this design is like stating to the world,
Under the full moon, I transforms into a demonic man-wolf with enormous speed and strength, as well as immunity to injury by virtually any source except inherited silver.
Yep, air-band is not about air guitar anymore. Anyone can play any air-instrument. You don’t have to spend a bunch of money on music lessons and the instruments.
If a girl wants you to serenade her with a song you can just pull out your air-piano.
And air-guitar are amazingly cool because it was used in the 1989 movie Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, which is probably the coolest movie ever. An air-triangle is always fun, people always smile when they play it — no nonsense.
Cassettes took off in the Seventies, changed lifestyles by popularizing music on the go. Pre-recorded cassettes went on sale in Europe in 1965, and from the Seventies to the Nineties became one of the most common formats on which to buy music.
Chemistry is a subject that requires a lot of time and works, everybody knows that. When I was in school, I was a little worried about math and science even if a lot of people believe that chemistry is the most fun subject yet in reality I found it to be most difficult subject in school.
I used to feel like a greatest scientist, then mix lemonade mixes (citric acid) and baking soda in “just the right” amounts, suddenly I can make a fizzy mix! Don’t forget about optimizing soap and water to be soap bubble. Yay, who doesn’t like soap bubble! But not all teachers can teach chemistry in fun way, so unfortunately (or fortunately?) — I didn’t choose chemistry as my major.
An absolutely bizzare Korean pop (K-pop) music video is blowing up on YouTube, becoming one of the most shared videos in the world nowadays.
‘Gangnam Style’ by Korean hip-hop artist with six albums, Psy, has had more than 333m views in two months and became the most “liked” video on YouTube. Rapper Psy became the first South Korean musician to reach No 1 in the UK.
Gui Soares from Sao Paulo, Brazil, was asked for illustration by a rock ‘n roll themed clothing line called Santo Rock.
August 2012 marked the fiftieth anniversary of Ringo Starr joining The Beatles, and therefore the formation of the band proper. The Beatles are the best-selling english work band in history, formed in Liverpool in 1960. The Beatles don’t mean anything to the young people now, but they are still nowadays some people’s all-time favorite band. They are still my Fab Four, just like what this tee is trying to say.
Coffee & Cigarettes Clothing Co. is an independent clothing company launched in Fall 2011 which heavily Influences are derived heavily from various music scenes, particularly by the attitude and ethos of punk and hardcore but also by the aesthetic of indie music scenes, and skating culture. This is one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.
~ Neil Armstrong
It was Armstrong, the first person that walks in the moon, who died in the age of 82 just recently on August 2012. Do you know? Way before becoming an astronaut, Armstrong was an officer in the U.S. Navy, served in the Korean War, and served as a test pilot at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics High-Speed Flight Station (now known as the Dryden Flight Research Center) where he already logged over 900 flights. Geez, that’s a lot!

In recent T-shirt designing collaboration with SocialFabrik, Letterer & Typographer Boris Pelcer makes statement about what is his latest artwork is trying to say:

The Ropeadope Design Collective has recently released its second t-shirt series and this new set doesn’t disappoint! If you aren’t familiar with Ropeadope, it’s a record label based in Philadelphia, PA. Earlier this year, Ropeadope entered into the world of art t-shirts, releasing tees by designers like Wotto and Tang Yau Hoong. Wotto is back for this new Winter 2010 collection, but this time, there are plenty of fresh faces! The new lineup includes artwork from YemaYema, David Murray/SEIBEI, BootsBoots, Qetza, Harry Gordon, and Mike Friedrich.
Like the past line, only some of the new Ropeadope Design Collective t-shirts are music-related. I kind of wish that they all had something to do with music, being linked with a record label and all, but that’s just my opinion. I personally love the Discowl shirt, both because of the design itself and the colors. The green details really pop out against the purple background. Besides, where else are you going to find a three-eyed owl who enjoys electronic music?
Head over to the Ropeadope Design Collective shop to check out the new series of tees today! These new designs are currently on pre-order for $24 each and will be shipping out on the week of December 13.

Everybody knows Bob Dylan. He has been known for five decades, and I love his songs that talk about social critique, anti-war, and civil rights. He is an artist and a social fighter as well. Bob’s greatness is that he is able to apply all kinds of music nicely into his songs. How can’t we love him?
And if you adore Bob, then you should adore this guy as well. He is Bruce Springsteen. Do you remember him? This guitarist, in addition to his musical prowess, he has also a generous nature. He participated in the project “We Are The World” by USA for Africa, and Antipartheid Sun City project. His songs are always specials because they are created with love and they have a very strong element of American culture. Very clearly seen that both have exceptional musical character. I miss on their songs now.
And as their admirer, it’s natural if we have a picture of them, right? ARTIITII has provided a way out for us to be able to enjoy their face and remember the greatness of those musicians through the shirt. Bob Dylan T-shirt ($ 70) and Bruce Springsteen T-shirt ($ 70) has been available there. But you have to be hurry, because these shirts are limited. They only print 100 shirts. And of course you have to fight with Bob and Bruce lovers around the world.
The coolest part is, you will not encounter the same shirt! Unless you met with 99 other users around the world. So be the real Bob and Bruce’s fans!
T-shirt and music player, those two are complements each other, but absolutely not for substituting. Yet, crazy idea may come from everywhere, especially from creative minds of The Big Bang Theory creator. Meet the Personal Soundtrack T-Shirt. Initially appeared in The Bing Bang Theory Season 3 Ep. 16, entitled The Excelsior, Folks at ThinkGeek really want this mix-crazy-and-cool thing to be wore by any geek in the world.
The “magic” lies at speaker and wired remote implanted into this shirt. With this thing, people who wear this tees are able to play their own music playlist, even without bringing a dedicated music player. What’s the use of portable music player if you have already had it inside your shirt? Completing its coolness, it has own SD memory to store various mp3 songs of your choices.
What about the energy to run the player? Don’t worry, you don’t carry a boom with you. It is powered by 4 AAAA batteries that are easily found in market near your place. With all this stuffs loaded into this shirt, don’t you think US$29,99 ($39.99) price tag is too cheap?

If you love listening to some rock bands, you’ll love this exclusive T-shirt from Quiksilver collaborate with the Van Bondies.
The band formed in Detroit in 2000. They help ‘fueling’ the local indie music scene. The band’s roaring sound and raw emotion played an essential role in the resurgence of garage rock, going on to find critical mainstream success, and influencing many other artists. Check out this exclusive Von Bondies t-shirt ($29.00
on sale $14.50) on Quiksilver. The design is manly with dark colors and lead singer illustration. It also has the almost hidden ‘Van Bondies’ sign in the tee. The good news is, the Van Bondies tee is as eco-friendly as the other Quiksilver t-shirts, so, do not hesitate to grab ‘em all
As we all know, some of the biggest influence in our life come from art, music and sport. That’s why we could relate easily with Dephect clothing designs. Dephect is a London-based lifestyle and clothing brand which sets itself apart by collaborating with artists from across Europe to produce t-shirts that fit in with its interests in underground art, music and sports scenes. As well as being a clothing brand, Dephect is a way of life for a group of friends from London with a healthy appetite for creativity.
Like this Elephant t-shirt showing the blue elephant carrying speakers on top of him. It looks good in 2 tone colors. Also a perfect t-shirt to wear to your friend’s parties. Find your musical soul in the vintage Cassette Tree t-shirt (also in 2 tone) and in the great concept of Natural Beats by Heather. Mostly, the designs in Dephect shows edgy and provocative ideas. You’d like all of their designs!
And now, to celebrate Dephect’s 10-year anniversary, they create an event called: “On Paper”. It will feature 25 of Dephect’s top-selling and favourite t-shirt graphics as lithographic prints (£25). How exciting! Save the date: 11th – 15th December 2009 at East Gallery, 214 Brick Lane, London, E1 6SA. Be there!
Drawing is a lovely activity. Everyone is doing it — from little kids, art students to experienced artists and professionals (like architects and engineers) — either when we need to get serious works done or doing something fun like sketches in the margins of their notebooks just to kill some times.
However,a clothing label like Draw Ltd. takes drawing-awesomeness to the next level. From its perspective, all drawings are art and thus all of them should get their moment in the sun. It’s certainly true that drawing, being less polished than most modern-digital art, can be incredibly remarkable (when artists’ magic hands involved!). Because they weren’t just meant for public’s viewing pleasure, they exhibit a freedom that other art can’t match.
Draw Ltd.’s monster-themed collection is proving that drawing can hold their own on a t-shirt. After introduced previous collection Monster Clusterf**k, Lenny and Carrotman (now out of stock) — its newest t-shirt (conceptualized and created) by Jordan Buckley shows us that even sketches can get a lot of mileage out with right dose of coloring.
But maybe… it’s because Mr. Buckley, who is also the guitarist for hardcore band Every Time I Die, is not one-time doodler. Buckley has done illustrations for multiple bands, clothing companies and individuals and we’ve been lucky enough to get a few from him. I’d love to call this t-shirt Jordan Buckley’s Pumpkin ’09 ($20) which look like a great tee to scare your friends this Halloween.
It’s trivia time! What was big thing happen this month, 18 years ago, in the alternative rock industry? Need some clues? Kurt Cobain.
You’re right! 18 years ago this month — or September, 1991 — Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl of Nirvana hit the racks with their single, “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” that went into on of the most requested hits on MTV.
It happened that the single knocked Michael Jackson off from number one spot on Billboard charts before received platinums and brought Nirvana into the mainstream through a new sub-genre of alternative rock was then called “grunge”.
Celebrating the historical moment, it cannot be better than revisiting the best seller collection of Nirvana merchandise. And talking about Nirvana’s officially licensed tee, I would recommend this online store, band T-shirt specialty WearYourBeer.com. On this store you can find famous Nirvana T-shirts like Nevermind Cover tee (featuring design a swimming baby loot at a US dollar bill on a fishhook), Nirvana Corporate Rock Whores tee, Nirvana Fleece Stripes Red Black hoodie and the Nirvana Live Concert Black T-Shirt.
