As he says through the night:

A Circus Life on Akumu Ink

Do you remember the legendary circus groups Moscow Circus or Cirque du Soleil? Everybody remembers. Circus does have a uniqueness that we can’t forget. It’s all because we can’t imitate their movement, so we take it as an oddity or maybe a nightmare.

It seems that this is also what makes Akumu Ink t-shirt interested in creating a circus designs. But unlike the design in general circus, circus at Akumu Ink looks scary. Akumu Ink is a Montreal based t-shirt company that launched in the beginning of 2008 by Joey and Dora. Their style is heavily inspired by everything coming out of Japan from its cute pop icons to its terrifying horror movies. The name Akumu is Japanese for nightmare. They love the concept of creating hand drawn images based on their nightmares. They focus their theme around darker subject matter even when sometimes it’s done with a cute twist.

Juggling is a very common thing in a sircus. However, The Juggler Guys Tee ($ 21.99) has a different story. He didn’t throw a ball or an apple, but a skull. And the juggler guy is also a dead man, as if to tell that the performers brought his circus life to death. This psychotic juggler comes in a white print on a fitted Black American Apparel tshirt

In addition to juggling, of course the drifter is always be an interesting spectacle in a circus show. How can you ride a bicycle with a wheels having a significant difference? The Drifter Girls ($ 21.99) tells us that not only humans who can play the circus, but also ghosts. This shirt’s design, once again, explain that the circus life will be brought to the death. This endless cycler comes in a black print on a fitted Cranberry (Blood Red) American Apparel tshirt.

Well, although the story presented by Akumu Ink is always scary, but their design is cute. Don’t be afraid.
