There have been rumors of UFOs in the Flytopia area but no one will believe me! When I get out to investigate, a giant alien exits the object and reaches for me…. Well, no, actually. Looking at this retro poster reminds me to “Attack of the 50 Foot Woman” poster, it just so rare to see retro movie poster in T-shirt. I guess is not bad to try this Fly 53 shirt, right?
Nintendonitis — the name may be cute, but a chronic painful condition you get in your hand from playing video games, especially between the thumb and forefinger sure is not cute. This condition was known to occur frequently among users of the Atari 2600 home video game console in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The condition was first highlighted when the Nintendo games consoles were released in 1990s. Nintendonitis – give disability two thumbs down.

Haha! I wonder what if they have their mashed-up song with this funny design.
In 2009, business partners, the founder of Damascus, Nate Khouli and Josh Lyon, made the benighted decision with no experience or background, to unknowingly propel those head first into one of the most saturated and emulous markets in busines apparel. They expressed their creativity by designing T-shirts for their friends, family and people around San Diego.
They get their inspiration from everyday life; they focus on what is thrown in front of them that many others fail to see. Hip and urban phrases, like “live now, die never,” and “It’s nice to like,” or “rage harder,” song lyrics, and random pictures of women are just the beginning of how Damascus finds inspiration in an urban city with so much to offer.
Their line for the end of this year was all around 80s and video games. That’s why they made the Japanese letters that stand for “Live Now, Die Never.” They wanted their shirt to be a Sega Genesis start screen before the game begins. Most importantly, this line celebrates their primed accession to the Men’s Apparel industry.
Colour’s overrated. For the autumn/winter season especially it’s nice to go for the old monochrome to combat all the fruitless attempts by others to inject colour into a grey whirl of wind and rain. Embrace the world of classic black and white – go with it!
Now’s never been a better time to go for it either because there’s some great styles kicking about to fill your wardrobe up with. As usual the streetwear/sports brands out there are leading the way…
Eleven Paris are well known for their retro-look graphic prints that manage to deliver season after season; expect to find the awesome witty photograph making an appearance, but in totally unexpected ways — what about Katy Parry with moustache (life is a joke!)? Get involved.
Clark Kent, he’s quickly going into this phone booth and off with these clothes… “THIS IS A JOB FOOOOR…!!”
Uhm, Superman, before you zooms off, please make sure that you are still in Clark Kent appearance otherwise it can be superFAILED as you see on this hilarious, retro-comics design tee. Oh, don’t worry for you guys, Kerry Callen makes a superwoman version also.
Yes, and our kid brother Superhero has died so many times that the readers barely even notice anymore.
Bill Willingham, Fables, Vol. 13: The Great Fables Crossover
Superhero comics are inspirational.
They are full of heroes that inspire us to be better, to think more things are possible, and to imagine a world where we can become something amazing.
And superhero comics not only targeting male fans, they also available for females too, teaching them that a woman also can be beautiful and powerful.
And the two-words “Girl Power” as you see on this tee, means girls can have exciting adventures as much as guys been dreaming to.
The idea of Cherry Laundry was inspired by 1950s-60s and the love of local launderette. Dan Dewhurts, they guy behind this brand, told me that his local launderette was just down the road from where he live and its like stepping back in time. Although it needed more then a coat of paint over the years it still very clearly embraces its past.
What cool is that, the launderette still has its original soap dispenser on the wall surrounded by some unbelievably cool posters. Stained pine paneling runs around the interior with a solitary fan buzzing in the corner. After all, although this idea is glamorized by Hollywood, Cherry Laundry love the idea of people talking to each other whilst they wait for their washing.
76 Garments is clothing brand that stands proudly for goodness, character, authenticity, and always trying to foster a pioneering spirit. Although recently it’s just recently launched, it believes in old roots, considering the mantra it spells

I Love Antix, also often called simply “Antix”, is a brand that is dedicated and inspired by fun! The brand is self-described as a mix of 80s nostalgia and 90′s rad. However it’s also a brand that is Ultra-Hyper-Super-Mega-High-Fashion which of course, as they admit, doesn’t actually mean anything at all. What you can count on though is fun designs and lots of them.
I Love Antix originally got its start as a small humorus tee sideline project but has since evolved into a full fledge brand with lots of great art and designs.
Space Thrash tee by Chad Manzo is printed on a black shirt in vivid colors. This design depicts an alien “Shredding the Milky Way.” Meanwhile, Adam Vaudin’s Jurassic Thrash T-shirt is just what it should be. Two pterodactyls skating in an Native American styled circle/headdress.
Bonus review: “Bowling” tee shirt, designed by Craig Robson.
What do you think Popeye can do best with his two big superarms? Do you think he can only punch Bluto out of this planet after a can of spinach?

This I Love GB tee ($23.75) feature the famous I Love logo plus the interesting person from UK: Gordon Brown (GB). James Gordon Brown (born 20 February 1951) is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Labour Party. Brown became Prime Minister in June 2007, after the resignation of Tony Blair. The tee looks cute with the additional bus sketch describing London giraffes out for a day’s sightseeing. By the way, can anyone here think what London giraffes got to do with PM Gordon Brown?

The Lost Angels-based streewear brand, Dissizit, has just dropped its latest arrivals — featuring signature hand-styles, bold graphics and photograph that push sensuality to its limit. If you’re Dissizit fan, you know this something that Dissizit always offer. Among those eye catching tee, my attention was drawn to Lolita Tee shirt ($32).
It’s based a novel by Vladimir Nabokov entitle “Lolita” first written in English and published in 1955 in Paris. Plot summary, you can find on Wikipedia, tells a little bit about about obessession of guy named Humbert toward what he refers to as “nymphets” (a 9 to 14-year-old girls to whom he is attracted) namely Lolita.
Humbert, now widowed, picks Lolita up from camp, pretending that Charlotte is ill and in a hospital. He takes Lolita to a hotel, where he meets a strange man (later revealed to be Clare Quilty), who seems to know who he is. Humbert attempts to use sleeping pills on Lolita so that he may molest her without her knowledge, but they have little effect on her. Instead, she consciously seduces Humbert the next morning. He discovers that he is not her first lover, as she had sex with a boy at summer camp. Humbert reveals to Lolita that Charlotte is actually dead; Lolita has no choice but to accept her stepfather into her life on his terms.
The Lolita Tee is made from 100% cotton, and features a photo screen print from the 1962 movie Lolita, based on the controversial novel. Grab this tee from 80s Purple. Not forget to mention, some photos of other Dissizit new tee shirts on the streetwear online store:
