Multi-Cultural tee shirt Label with promise to ‘Wow’

I have some reasons to call Carte Postale as a multi-cultural tee shirt label. First, the name Carte Postale is actually French for Postcard, while it’s actually run by duo Hakim Philip who is originally from Monaco (but lived 10 years in Japan before moving to Singapore) and Singaporean-based Artist / Designer Anwar Rafiee.

Secondly, with duo language website (English & French) and international pop-culture design like Sesame Street Thriller (awesome for Halloween!) and Mummy’s Dummy and another that touches the heart of third world countries like Re: Draw Afrika, it tries to conquer the make the mark in international scene. I believe that its Debut collection can give you some ideas of diversity in Carte Postale’s imagination.

Holy cow, that’s a great deal! If you’re looking for some tasteful pop-culture or video game-related designs, J!NX is the perfect store to check out.geek, gamer, Sesame Street, Street Fighter, J!NX, funny

I have a few personal favorites, one of which is Puppet Brawlin’ ($10.99-$12.99 during the sale). Now I didn’t watch that much Sesame Street as I was growing up (Crazy, right? Blame it on me being overseas as a kid.), but I did play a lot of Street Fighter (Street Fighter II for SNES, to be exact). I love the combination of the two, and seeing Big Bird as Ryu and Cookie Monster as Ken is just flat out funny. I thought they were all about being friends and being kind to one another at Sesame Street, but I guess there has been some tension brewing after all these years. I doubt Cookie Monster will want to eat before a fight after this. Those cookies are flying everywhere! That must be today’s lesson for this episode.

If you’re looking for a good World of Warcraft shirt or just some cool geek or gamer t-shirts, then don’t miss out on this big sale at J!NX. This sale originally lasted until last night, but it has been extended, so hurry!

Sesame Street 40th Season x American Apparel

Remember Elmo? The cute little red monster, who wants to know more about the world he is growing up in? Or Cookie Monster that always had a passion for cookies, gobbling them up whenever he can? Yes! I’m talking about Sesame Street!

Sesame Street is celebrating its 40th season. Wow, felt like yesterday, all the time I spend to watch it in front of TV :P Sesame Street is a widely recognized and perpetually daring experiment in educational children programming. It was so good that Entertainment Weekly named it the “20th Best Ever Show”. Sesame Street has changed the education scene to focus on “entertainment.” This has turned out to be a valuable theory that not only helps the learning process easier, but it also increases the effectiveness of the information being taught.

If you’re still in love with Sesame Street (I know you do!), you could check out the American Apparel collection in celebrating Sesame street 40th season. The t-shirt looks very cute with Sesame Street characters printed on it.

To refresh your mind, there are more Sesame Street characters other than Elmo like Oscar the Grouch, Ernie and Bert, The Count, and Big Bird. So, who was your favorite Sesame Street character? For me, it would have to be Big Bird. Because Big Bird is everyone’s friend. No matter what species, color or race you are. Yay for Big Bird!
