This is a hand-job set of Antonio Rodrigue Jr, a self taught graphic designer that born in Brazil and graduated in Fine Arts. What’s made him different to any other designer is that he was doing his typography traditional way, handmade lettering as the other designs featured, but not computer-generated – the only digital addition to these ones was the colour correction.
This was his latest project, a series of posters saying some small facts to give more personal information about him in his website. And a set that was commissioned by a tee-shirt company that only sell type based designs, mostly sayings or quotations.
Check out his website to see another work he has done.
The first time I see this Mr Typeface tee (£15) I thought, “He must be handsome, classy, and a great poetry writer!” Just look at his vest and the way he hold himself together! Nice design concept with a great sketchy retro style by mathiole. He’s been a promising designer. Check out his other designs, also in SwishSwosh and his personal arts on DeviantArt.
