Nan Lawson’s illustrations are the kind of cute and funny that nobody can’t get enough of. She makes lean, round faced, blushing men and women who always appear to be mid-blink. They do look like “hipsters,” too.
What is most interesting is where she pulls cultural cues from, just like this illustration printed on tee shirt, “I can’t see anything I don’t like about you”. Not only does she pick the best characters to illustrate, but she renders them in the most delicate ways possible, the simplistic and sweet nature of her work. With beautiful work like this but revolves around trademarked pop culture references, it feels like a mix of anime and woodcut storybook illustration.
A symbol stands for an idea. And The Statue of Ice Cream Liberty T-shirt stands for a universal symbol of ice cream freedom. It stirs the desire for ice cream freedom in people all over the world.
And when people saw the Statue of Ice Cream Liberty, they will said to themselves, “Lady, you’re such a beautiful! You opened your arms and you get all the ice creams here. Give me a chance to prove that I am worth it, to do something, to get.. ice cream!”
What do the brands MUJI, AGFA, SAAB, IBM, Oral B, BMW, Staples, Kawasaki and Panasonic have in common? Their logos are all designed in the Helvetica typeface, which can be seen virtually everywhere: in print, on the web, in the news and even in the movies (you know, there is a moviel titled Helvetica. A must see!). Since its release in 1957, Helvetica has steadily been one of the most popular typefaces.
Think of the 60’s era and its advertising. What comes to mind? Style? Slick designs? Clean lines? That’s due in large part to Max Miedinger and his Helvetica font design.
This is a hand-job set of Antonio Rodrigue Jr, a self taught graphic designer that born in Brazil and graduated in Fine Arts. What’s made him different to any other designer is that he was doing his typography traditional way, handmade lettering as the other designs featured, but not computer-generated – the only digital addition to these ones was the colour correction.
This was his latest project, a series of posters saying some small facts to give more personal information about him in his website. And a set that was commissioned by a tee-shirt company that only sell type based designs, mostly sayings or quotations.
Check out his website to see another work he has done.
Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy — especially it comes in six pack like this tee. Well, alcohol usually exaggerates the emotions you have before you drink, but beer is more easy to drink and when drinking them, the alcohol makes you feel happier as you get drunk.
Just one beer will warming the skin, relax the muscles, dilate the blood vessels, soothe tired nerves, and even prompt healthier conversation.
Feed Just One, comes from Mother Teresa quote that says, “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”, the socially responsible clothing organization was started with a simple idea, a batch of 24 shirts, and a MySpace page back in 2007. They set up at concerts and music festivals and traveled the country selling shirts and now every single shirt from them means donating $ 7.50 to Think Humanity.
Let’s face it the future belongs to those have “Geek” stamp on their face. This one is for the guys who give us the video games, the web sites, the social networking sites, the mobile apps and everything else which involves a mouse, computer, smart phone, router, broadband, tablet… oh God this list is endless.
A new clothing label, named Framed Clothing Co. was born in January 2012 thanks to Brooklyn, New York-based freelance designer, Saxon Campbell. By visualizing inspirational messages (like “Dressed to Kill”), photography, illustrations, and sometimes-humorous themes, on its tee shirts — Framed Clothing is trying to spark at least one interest for each individual that inspired by its collection.

SnorgTees is running a little experiments for the upcoming Valentine’s Day withe Couples vs. Singles battle. How many of its customers are couples and singles? What Snorgtees do is simply giving 20% OFF purchase when (assuming) couples buy 2 or more shirts — with coupon code “TEESFORTWO”. On the other hand, it gives 15% OFF when someone buy 1 tee only with coupon code “PARTYTIME”. Sure it’s not an accurate test of sampling couples vs. singles but definitely a good offer for everyone, isn’t it?

Cannot get much info about Mude from its website. But the black/white-typography T-shirt specialist brings some really fresh perspective on how you see typography designs that make statement. Whether you agree with “Santa Claus is Dead” and “Polaroid Fucks Digital” or not, Mude’s tee shirts are something you want to wear when you want to be noticed fashionably. T-shirts are 100% made in Italy and nothing wrong about that.

All things are made by human beings — although God and robots might play their parts.
But the the term “hand made by human beings” for Prestigious as a fashion brand means its product were handpicked by individuals and were designed, printed and produced in the United States with utmost respect and care for a DIY ethic and fair labor treatment.
Prestigious is about to help you making a strong statement on that issue with artsy tees — not forget to mention the cool typographic design it has. So, if you’re “in”, better grab one for yourself.

In recent T-shirt designing collaboration with SocialFabrik, Letterer & Typographer Boris Pelcer makes statement about what is his latest artwork is trying to say:
Music is what thought, emotion & life sound like. Your every gesture, linguistic & physical interaction with all things is music in the making. As such you are the source of your own life’s music & don’t you forget it.
The artwork that is created exclusively for SocialFabrik, eventually being sold a limited edition tee shirt for about £25 and become another printed art of Boris — after Urban Outfitters, Spencer’s, Zumiez, Hot Topic, Harley Davidson, Miller Brewing Co., Target & Kohl’s — who has also been awarded by the Society of Illustrators & had work published in publications such as CMYK Magazine.
It’s planking — or in layman term, as I quoted from Urban Dictionary, means “the art of laying horizontally across any object or the ground with their arms by their sides, aiming to occur in daring situations or a brotherly display of core-strength..” Of course then, it won’t be fun without competing with others to find the most unusual places and show it to all over the internet.
Despite comedian Tom Green claims to have invented “planking” as early as 1994. It’s naturally a worldwide trend of 2011 and no tee shirts can commerate it like Busted Tees’ If You Can Read This I’m Not Planking

An emo story lead to a question*:
My best friend, Kelly (not real name indeed) and I cut our wrists. I don’t even know how many times she has cut and I’m not sure if she really does. But I believe Kelly more than anything. She says she has become addicted to it. I have only done it twice: those were when I feel that world has turned against me I immediatally think of running into the bathroom, and grabbing the razor to cut myself. Help me, what am I suppose to do?
Answer: stay away from razor, if you can’t stop yourself: do good a cut above the wrist. This tee from Busted Tees ($20) says it all.
