You know, you take my tongue when you’re near, and my heart when you’re away. I wonder if you knew the way I felt for you. I want you to use me like a drug, and get high as you wanna. Nan Lawson’s illustrations are the kind of cute and funny that nobody can’t get enough of. She makes lean, round faced, blushing men and women who always appear to be mid-blink. They do look like “hipsters,” too.
What is most interesting is where she pulls cultural cues from, just like this illustration printed on tee shirt, “I can’t see anything I don’t like about you”. Not only does she pick the best characters to illustrate, but she renders them in the most delicate ways possible, the simplistic and sweet nature of her work. With beautiful work like this but revolves around trademarked pop culture references, it feels like a mix of anime and woodcut storybook illustration.

Who doesn’t love Bill Murray? I love him. The american actor and comedia who was famous for his role on movies such as Caddyshack (1980), Ghostbusters (1984), and Groundhog Day (1993) already entertained us in some many other roles. As much as I love him, Derek Eads is showing his love by creating lovely Bill Murray’s Filmography T-shirt art — drawing Bill’s appearance who each movie he acted. This tee is now available for sale on Society6.
