Multi-Cultural tee shirt Label with promise to ‘Wow’
I have some reasons to call Carte Postale as a multi-cultural tee shirt label. First, the name Carte Postale is actually French for Postcard, while it’s actually run by duo Hakim Philip who is originally from Monaco (but lived 10 years in Japan before moving to Singapore) and Singaporean-based Artist / Designer Anwar Rafiee.
Secondly, with duo language website (English & French) and international pop-culture design like Sesame Street Thriller (awesome for Halloween!) and Mummy’s Dummy and another that touches the heart of third world countries like Re: Draw Afrika, it tries to conquer the make the mark in international scene. I believe that its Debut collection can give you some ideas of diversity in Carte Postale’s imagination.

Callahan Auto Parts: Nostalgia of a Movie through a Shirt
Do you remember Tommy Boy, a very popular movie in the year 1995? Tommy Boy is a comedy film directed by Peter Segal, written by Bonnie and Terry Turner, and Fred Wolf. The main plot tells a story of the title character, a socially and emotionally immature man who learns lessons about friendship, trust and self-worth following the sudden death of his industrialist father. In the movie, starring Chris Farley and David Spade, Tommy Boy inherits his dads auto-part company (Callahan auto-parts) and he must sell half a million brake pads or the company will go out of business.
If you remember and liked the movie, you’ll adore the latest design from NerdyShirts. NerdyShirts opened shop in the summer of 2004 and is operated entirely in Los Angeles, California. They decided to start making t-shirts because they feel printed tees are one of the greatest mediums to express yourself.
Here it is Callahan Auto Parts ($19.95), the latest design from NerdyShirts, inspired by the movie Tommy Boy starring Chris Farley and David Spade. This tee is made from high quality cotton, printed and shipped in Los Angeles, California. And you’ll get free returns and exchanges.
And hey! NerdyShirts give you an interesting offer to be an affiliate. They have created an affiliate program to help you promote their site and make good money while you do it. How much you ask? We will pay you $10 per sale! No other T-shirt site on the internet offers this much.
Don’t waste the opportunity given! Buy a T-shirt, and be its affiliate.

Black Friday Special: Win 12 Tee shirts of Your Choice from Unicorns Rock!
Update: The question for this contest is…
What brand of beer would a unicorn drink?
send your answer to: contest@unicornsrock.com
Black Friday craziness is finally here! I know that you’re bombarded with tons of special offers giving you discounts and coupon codes on your next purchases and it’s definitely hard not to pay them a serious attention — especially if shopping is not one of your best-rated skills.
But, in whatever situation, you have to make a sounding plan to spend your Black Friday on most generous-yet-quaity merchants. Huge discounts are superb. But what if there’s a eye-popping discount waiting at the checkout and a chance to win some sort of free stuff from merchants at the same time, would that be awesome!?

Now you must find this cool: My dear friends at Unicorns Rock and fellow T-shirt bloggers as well as the Cottonable crew have teamed up to hold a giveaway contest with prizes of a total of 24 tees will be given to two winners — who, each of them, will win the contest in two ways. These are the two ways:
1) The Easy Way – Buy a 10% Discounted T-shirt
This is no-brainer, simply pick and buy one piece from Unicornsrock.com tee shirt collection and enter the code “giraffe” during checkout. You will be automatically entered into the contest – one entry per shirt purchased, and a chance to win 12 tee shirts!
2) The Fun and Free Way – Collect Clues and Tweet
Here’s the rule, my contest heroes:
- Simply collect coupon codes from all participant blogs. What blogs? These awesome blogs indeed: Hideyourarms, Buy-tees.net, Tee Hunter, Pop Culture Tees (don’t forget Cottonable coupon code: “giraffe”!)
Each coupon is also a clue. On Friday Nov. 27th (or later today) a question will be posted by all blogs. Use the coupon codes to help you guess the answer to the question.
I’ll update you with an email address for you to send the answer.Email your answer(s) and Twitter link by Monday Nov. 30th at 5pm. We will check your Tweets so we know you didn’t cheat.
The winners will be announced Wednesday at 5pm.
- It can’t be fun without tweeting. So you gotta help out to spread the contest on Twitter with the following tweet message:

Cottonable x Tolky Monkys Micro-story Contest: Win Free T-Shirts!
Feeling creative today? Why don’t you help Tolky Monkys creating a name and micro-story for its new character while giving yourself a chance to win free shirt?
If you never heard about Tolky Monkys, what a shame! (just kidding), it’s a Madrid, Spain-based clothing label whose tee shirts collection built upon a number of fictional cartoon characters (and their own story) uniquely created by Tolky Monkys artists. Although these guys are so creative with new characters launched every season, sometime they get stuck with the idea of character’s name and its story… And this is why they need your help!
This month Tolky Monkys will release this “blue-skinned, red-nosed” character illustrated holding a gun calmly. The problem is they need your help to come out with ideas of what is the best name (and story) for this dude:

You can find an example name and story over here — but we need something more creative! If you ask me… I’ll give this dude a name: Agent Bluerryednosed. I imagine him as a secret agent given task By TolkyCity’s Police Department to handle nightly criminal cases in town, involving intruders from from “the other planet” … And the story goes on.
To win a free T-shirt or polo shirts from Tolky Monkys, simply leave comment below (yes on this blog) with a name and/or short story for this character. For the story, it must contain maximum 250 words (remember it´s just a micro story, so don’t work to hard!).
On October 22nd, the contest will be closed and among all the received proposals they will choose: ONE best name and ONE best story.
What the prize here? For each one winner, there will be a pack of 4 Tolky Monkys items among the new collection to be released on October. They´ll choose 2 more people from this blog that will win a surprise t-shirt or polo shirt.
Feeling lazy today? d’oh! It’s ok, there are three alternative ways to win the prizes.
- First, you can write about this contest on your personal blog… With one condition that your blog must be 6 month-old or older (I hope you have one!). Your post must link to Tolky Monkys site [www.tolkymonkys.com/en/] and to this blog posting [http://bit.ly/cottonabletmcontest] — This should be done before October 19th.
- Second, if you have Twitter (I’ll be sad if you don’t have one). You just have to ReTwitt: “@Tolky_Monkys Microstories Contest. (Propose short stories for a new Character) and get t-shirts FOR FREE ::::: RT and win t-shirts”.
- Third. So you have both blog and Twitter? Even better. You´ll have double possibilities of getting a prize.
Please read detail of rules and regulation over here… Good luck!!!
Halloween Special: a Free Mystery Shirt at Disturbia
When Halloween is just around the corner, what’s better than getting a free mystery T-shirt from Disturbia Clothing? First, because Disturbia tees is known best known for bringing philosophy of “Disturb the Suburbs” that depicts dark-ish humors, Halloween-tasted designs combined with punk-ed ethos and pop culture mascots that had been twisted-and-turned them into alternative scary pop-goers.
You can even see every day’s signs, logos and modern semiotics are warped, de-constructed and reassembled — shifted context that later reveal an alternative truth behind what it appears (whether you agree or not!). I’m talking about Mary tee that features de-constructed image of Virgin Mary or Saint Mary; Guitar Zero tee which represents the scary-ness of Guitar Hero addiction; Master/Slave tee which pokes fun on a credit card logo; or Walt Disturbia… you know what this tee about.

I don’t forget the second reason — it’s because for every order you place at Disturbia (this week only) they’ll include a FREE mystery t-shirt for you! That’s right, a FREE T-shirt with every none-sale order placed!! This offer will run until midnight Sunday 11th October GMT. Let me repeat… 1 FREE tee per order!
Co-Tee TV x Cottonable Contest, Win $100 Worth T-Shirts!
Rules, not much. The only requirement is that either (or combination of) “Coty”, “Co-Tee TV” or “Cottonable” PLUS the brand of the shirt (i.e. Stove Monkeys, Art of the Fan, Ban T-Shirt, Limitees, BLXNK) has to be included somewhere in the photo (see below), either in the bubble or outside the bubble. You can submit as many entries as you like! There are four different photos for you to choose from, one for each of the four tees reviewed in this episode. When you’re done with your photo entry, post here in the comments if you like but REMEMBER to post it on the Co-Tee TV Facebook Fan Page. And then email your hires entry to cotygonzales at gmail dot com. Got it? Okay, get to it!
