Feed Just One, comes from Mother Teresa quote that says, “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”, the socially responsible clothing organization was started with a simple idea, a batch of 24 shirts, and a MySpace page back in 2007. They set up at concerts and music festivals and traveled the country selling shirts and now every single shirt from them means donating $ 7.50 to Think Humanity.
Let’s face it the future belongs to those have “Geek” stamp on their face. This one is for the guys who give us the video games, the web sites, the social networking sites, the mobile apps and everything else which involves a mouse, computer, smart phone, router, broadband, tablet… oh God this list is endless.
A new clothing label, named Framed Clothing Co. was born in January 2012 thanks to Brooklyn, New York-based freelance designer, Saxon Campbell. By visualizing inspirational messages (like “Dressed to Kill”), photography, illustrations, and sometimes-humorous themes, on its tee shirts — Framed Clothing is trying to spark at least one interest for each individual that inspired by its collection.

Zombietshirts.pl is a tee shirts & clothing shop brought to the world by Polish illustrators and artists. Not so surprising, it also has also competition for designers with every three months, best design wins the 1000 PLN (equal to approx. $330). So far, they have managed to acquire several very famous and talented Polish illustrators. As the collection grows, I decided to have my list of 10 Loveliest T-shirts Ever Printed by Zombietshirts.pl — here it goes:
The idea of Cherry Laundry was inspired by 1950s-60s and the love of local launderette. Dan Dewhurts, they guy behind this brand, told me that his local launderette was just down the road from where he live and its like stepping back in time. Although it needed more then a coat of paint over the years it still very clearly embraces its past.
What cool is that, the launderette still has its original soap dispenser on the wall surrounded by some unbelievably cool posters. Stained pine paneling runs around the interior with a solitary fan buzzing in the corner. After all, although this idea is glamorized by Hollywood, Cherry Laundry love the idea of people talking to each other whilst they wait for their washing.
SnorgTees is running a little experiments for the upcoming Valentine’s Day withe Couples vs. Singles battle. How many of its customers are couples and singles? What Snorgtees do is simply giving 20% OFF purchase when (assuming) couples buy 2 or more shirts — with coupon code “TEESFORTWO”. On the other hand, it gives 15% OFF when someone buy 1 tee only with coupon code “PARTYTIME”. Sure it’s not an accurate test of sampling couples vs. singles but definitely a good offer for everyone, isn’t it?
Apart from the little experiment, I’ve decided to get a short-list of cute love-able tees that SnorgTees has over time. Here it goes (all tees available in men and women size):
Eight neat-simply-bold tee shirts have just been released by Manchester-based indie clothing label, Origin68, along with brand new website. Cannot get much info about Mude from its website. But the black/white-typography T-shirt specialist brings some really fresh perspective on how you see typography designs that make statement. Whether you agree with “Santa Claus is Dead” and “Polaroid Fucks Digital” or not, Mude’s tee shirts are something you want to wear when you want to be noticed fashionably. T-shirts are 100% made in Italy and nothing wrong about that.
All things are made by human beings — although God and robots might play their parts.
But the the term “hand made by human beings” for Prestigious as a fashion brand means its product were handpicked by individuals and were designed, printed and produced in the United States with utmost respect and care for a DIY ethic and fair labor treatment.
Prestigious is about to help you making a strong statement on that issue with artsy tees — not forget to mention the cool typographic design it has. So, if you’re “in”, better grab one for yourself.

As I watch the Curb Your Enthusiasm last month’s episode, I started to think that it is important to recognize these micro social maneuvers. In the episode, Larry David describes the Chat & Cut as,
feigning familiarity with someone [you] vaguely know for the sole purpose of cutting in line.
Whether you are seeking entrance into an small buffet lunch or at your friends reception wedding, the Chat & Cut means you can end up in the front of the line while potentially forging a new friendship — if you don’t get busted.

Very very fresh from the oven, XCVB was just started in March this year — it’s run by the boys from Sheffield in the UK. Despited being pretty new to the scene but they are trying to make a name for themselves with original interesting design that consist of design, symbols, typography and (definitely) a sacred meaning behing all of those combination.
Their promise is to constantly evolve to keep XCVB designs fresh. So far they have mainly t-shirts available but are looking to expand into jackets hats shirts and anything else they can get sorted.
Welcome to the field, boys, please impress us!
When Threaded Type creates a tee shirt, it has to stand for something. It’s not exception for the latest Power of C.R.Y (Change Rests on You) tee shirt that stands for individuals should do more of making a change. And I can’t think any better word than this:
Some of us never really dig deep within ourselves to realize that we as individuals contain the power to make a change. Whether is speaking your mind, taking a vow of silence for what you believe in, or just simply expressing yourself trough creativity. Exercise what you truly feel will make a change and always remember that Change Rests on You.
Symbols contained in this tee gives you some insight of what the design is trying to convince: tear drop for the “Change Rests on You” statement and the lightning bolt referring to Power that burn the fire.
In recent T-shirt designing collaboration with SocialFabrik, Letterer & Typographer Boris Pelcer makes statement about what is his latest artwork is trying to say:
Music is what thought, emotion & life sound like. Your every gesture, linguistic & physical interaction with all things is music in the making. As such you are the source of your own life’s music & don’t you forget it.
The artwork that is created exclusively for SocialFabrik, eventually being sold a limited edition tee shirt for about £25 and become another printed art of Boris — after Urban Outfitters, Spencer’s, Zumiez, Hot Topic, Harley Davidson, Miller Brewing Co., Target & Kohl’s — who has also been awarded by the Society of Illustrators & had work published in publications such as CMYK Magazine.
It’s planking — or in layman term, as I quoted from Urban Dictionary, means “the art of laying horizontally across any object or the ground with their arms by their sides, aiming to occur in daring situations or a brotherly display of core-strength..” Of course then, it won’t be fun without competing with others to find the most unusual places and show it to all over the internet.
Despite comedian Tom Green claims to have invented “planking” as early as 1994. It’s naturally a worldwide trend of 2011 and no tee shirts can commerate it like Busted Tees’ If You Can Read This I’m Not Planking

Stheart (start + heart but with pronunciation: Start) was started about 6 years ago and it’s shame of me never heard about them before, perhaps because they just started online store in 2007.
Since it’s first appearance, the metro Detroit-based clothing label has grown as straight-forward company built on bold graphic art & fashion that will make you aware with their superb illustration, photography as well as typography art tee shirts.
Builds its concept foundation that lays on the idea “of doing something with your life and giving it your all” and “…you only live once, stheart living it now”, Stheart began tapping some musicians & athletes to grow in areas that share similar passion & style. If you think your band share similar passion and want to give a band job, you can always poke them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
An emo story lead to a question*:
My best friend, Kelly (not real name indeed) and I cut our wrists. I don’t even know how many times she has cut and I’m not sure if she really does. But I believe Kelly more than anything. She says she has become addicted to it. I have only done it twice: those were when I feel that world has turned against me I immediatally think of running into the bathroom, and grabbing the razor to cut myself. Help me, what am I suppose to do?
Answer: stay away from razor, if you can’t stop yourself: do good a cut above the wrist. This tee from Busted Tees ($20) says it all.
*No emo were harmed in the making of this fictional story
