Epipheo Studios on Zazzle and On-demand Customized T-shirt Services

When it comes to quality and awesomeoness, I’m not really the big fan of on-demand customized (or personalized) T-shirt services like Zazzle, Spreadshirt or CafePress but I can’t really say I’m not going to purchase their stuff  either.

In few cases, in the situation where simplicity instead quality is my priority, I’d be thankful that someone has invented this idea. And I think I don’t mind paying so much for a so-so tee shirt when I really need it to wear it in the next 2-3 day.

Milred’s Tee Shirt Says: Cheese for Group Animal Shot!

I don’t recognize most of “animals” pictured in this group shot, I reckon most of them resemble “cats” (or the likes), an animal looks like “sheep”, but I can’t tell which one in specific. A group shot of animal kingdom is really we see nowadays and this t-shirt makes it happen. And it happens to when you see  shirt called Group Shot, designed by the man nicknamed mildred ~ have I mentioned that you can see his iconic signature in the back side?

While I am sort of animal lover myself, this design is actually quite creepy. I bet not all cute-loving-girls want to wear it. Despite that fact, I think this design will look cooler on men. In addition, you can punk’d your friend(s), asking them to count how many “animals” snapped in this design. At least 25 creatures where shot, I re-count. 25 faces in one design, cool huh?

Available at US$17.95 from Zazzle, the t-shirt is available for guys and girls with brown background only. Perhaps they want to add more background color, that will be better. Grab them while still hot and the “animals” are willing to be in the picture!

It hasn’t been curable yet and the scientists need lot of money to support the research.

One nice t-shirt about this campaign is made by Zazzle. Entitled as Moustache High Five! Shirts ($27.45 — design by Jim Gibbons), it pictures two astronauts who are growing mustache and doing high five in the sky. Second Thought on Modern T-shirt Printing Industry

Competition in the apparel printing industry (particularly for T-shirt printing) is getting stiffer every day with technology playing a really huge role. While I’m more interested to blog about the outcome of the printing industry, the T-shirt itself, I can’t close my eyes from witnessing what’s happening in the industry. Set aside the gloomy economy outlook.

On the technology side, digital printing gives t-shirt printers and suppliers a flexibility to execute demands without having to face “minimum order” dilemmas, especially from retail customers who often order a single piece per order. Some of them — you’ve heard these big names: Cafepress, Spreadshirt and Zazzle — take this advantage by allowing people to re-sell its printing service and get hundreds (I don’t know… maybe thousands?) so-called instant-entrepreneurs who sell their T-shirts not only to friends and family, but also across the nation and overseas.

At the same time, e-commerce technology (read: internet with its “online shopping” feature) helps them to find customers and sell their services to customers at a much lower cost on both the customer and seller side by eliminating overhead — like shop’s rent. Don’t forget about printers that use on-demand online printing technology, like InkImprints.com, that allows customers to create their own custom t shirts. As easy as 1-2-3, simply upload your t shirt design or photos, then preview it… Once you got the right look, click the “purchase” button and pay it via credit card and your order ships in 24 hours.

Modern T-shirt printing companies like InkImprints.com combines the use of screen printing and “DTG” or Direct to Garment printing for its production. It uses traditional screen printing (which known to be the best printing method to date) to handle large quantity custom shirts while they house several direct to garment printers for small run orders that require full color prints with attention to detail. This is what all modern tee shirt printing companies suppose to achieve in term of efficient work-process. Want to hear its business model? No Minimums and Free Shipping on all orders no matter what size you want.
